Welcome Back to AMHA!
On behalf of the entire AMHA board, we want to welcome everyone back for another exciting year of Stars hockey! As we conclude our first week of Travel practices and get rolling into our first week of house league, there are few reminders we want to pass along.
1) Please remember that refs are human and make mistakes. We will support our officials and ensure they have a safe and welcoming work environment.
2) Coaches/Board Members/On Ice Helpers are volunteers. Our volunteers our the life blood of AMHA. Without them, we do not exist. Please be kind and courteous to our volunteers. If you have issues, please follow the proper procedures to address them (these can be found in our constitution). Please ensure we follow the 24 hour rule at all times.
3) The game is meant to be fun. Wins come and they go. Sometimes we lose more then we win. It is important that we always encourage our athletes to continue to develop, improve and hone their craft, regardless of results.
4) Please ensure we follow the code of conduct for AMHA while in our arena or while travelling to other centers.
If you have any questions about AMHA or how we operate, I am an email away, as is the rest of the board. Please do not hesitate to reach out. Often times, information is flying around our association and it may not always be accurate. Its best advised to check with a board member before considering anything fact.
