AMHA AND ENSMHA MERGER INFORMATION SESSIONS AND SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP
As promised, AMHA has scheduled our information sessions and created a date for our special meeting of the membership to vote on our merger with ENSMHA.

AMHA has scheduled two (2) information sessions and our merger vote. Both will take place in the Energy room at the Libro Centre Arena in Amherstburg.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Meeting #1- Saturday May 4th at 10:30am

Meeting #2- Wednesday May 8th at 8:00pm

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP

From the AMHA Constitution- In addition to the Annual General Meeting, a General Meeting of the Membership may be called at any time by a Resolution of the Board. The business to be transacted at a General Meeting shall be limited to that specified in the notice called the General Meeting.

Notice of any Additional General Meetings of the Membership shall be emailed to all Members at the last known email address recorded in the records of the Association, and shall be posted on the Association Website. Such notice shall be posted in all Association Arenas within at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the Meeting.

SPECIAL MEETING DATE: TUESDAY MAY 14TH AT 7:00PM IN THE ENERGY ROOM AT THE LIBRO CENTRE ARENA IN AMHERSTBURG

In order for the vote to pass, 66% of the membership that attends the meeting must vote in favour.

Who can vote?

Only members in good standing are able to vote. Two (2) votes (two people) per family of players under 18 years old are eligible. One membership class casts one vote.  Meaning, for example: that a parental coach gets a vote as either one of the family votes, or a volunteer vote, not an additional vote for being a volunteer member.  Parents are only eligible to vote once, not once per player. Players over the age of 18 and non-parent volunteer members get one vote.  If a player is above the age of 18, their parents do not get a vote unless they are a life member or volunteer member, however, the player gets their own vote.

Special Membership Meeting registration will open in the coming days.
