Midget Majors Win St. Thomas Tournament
Improve Season Record to 11-0-1
The Amherstburg Midget Major Stars travelled down the 401 this past weekend to compete in their first tournament of the season. The Midgets would have the opportunity to test their skills against some of the best Midget Teams in the province and finished the successful weekend with round robin wins over Welland, Grimsby, and London. They would defeat Kitchener 3-2 in the semi-finals and duplicate the same score in the final to beat a strong team from Hespeler. The coaching staff was extremely pleased and proud with the effort put forth during the weekend, especially the outstanding TEAM success. The Midget Majors return home Saturday, October 24th for a game against Essex, game time is 8:10 at the Libro Centre. Come out and support your Amherstburg Midget Majors
