97 STARS ready for two game stand this weekend!
The Bantam Minor 97's play tonight on home ice at 8:30 vs Riverside Rangers.  Sunday the Star's hit the road to play Chatham Maroons at 5:10 in the Thames Campus Arena.

The 97 Star's plan to carry over their momentum off the recent victory over 1st place Windsor when they play two back to back games this weekend.  The first game is tonight at home against the Riverside team.  Amherstburg will need to dig deep and play even harder in their effort to win tonight as the Rangers have proven elusive lately after they won the last two meetings between these rivals.  The season series remains closely matched and the Star's will use home ice to their advantage.  Game time 8:30 PM tonight!
Tomorrow evening will find the 97's travelling on the 401 to visit the Chatham Maroons for only the fourth match up of the season between these two teams.  Both teams are currently tied in the standings for fifth place, with Tecumseh right behind them.  With nine points separating either team from 4th place Belle River, the game is a must win situation to keep on course towards catching that last playoff berth this season.  The 97 Star's and the Maroon's are statistically nearly identical which would indicate that this Sunday's game will be one not to be missed!  The Bantam 97's plan to play hard hockey and keep their record breaking season rolling by bringing home valuable points over the weekend.
Saturday 8:30 PM vs Riverside Rangers at the Amherstburg Recreation Complex
Sunday 5:10 PM vs Chatham Maroons at the Thames Campus Arena

    GO STARS !!!
