The team played very well today beating a strong Blue team 6-0, with a shut-out going to Joey, and a lot of offense led by Nathan and Rees [each scoring 2 goals]. The defense of William, Max, Cam S and Brayden [with some great help from Ryan P.] shut the Blue team out, and any time Blue got past our defense, Joey was a wall! Another great game for Joe. Justin C. had a well deserved goal, snapping a rebound, from Nathan's drive, behind the Blue Goalie. Good positioning leads to better chances for goals and Justin showed us how!
The offense also saw another strong two way effort from Carson [one goal], Cam W. with a couple of great mid ice breakouts, Ryan B with very strong two way hockey especially forechecking, Ryan P shooting his famous backhand shots and Jacob showing again how hard he works. Ever since Jacob was moved to forward, with that never give-up effort, the rest of the forwards have pushed harder! Great leadership shown by Jacob!!
