Select 7 Stars Finish Season With Two Great Games
The Amherstburg Select 7 Stars finished their season with two fantastic games against the Chatham Maroons and the Tecumseh Eagles.

Though the Stars were not victorious in these games, they showed just how much they have developed throughout the season and how hard they can battle.

The Stars lost to Chatham 7-6 but held a 6-5 lead late in the game and came extremely close to tying it up in the final seconds of the game.

In the 6-5 loss to Tecumseh, the Stars were down 6-2 at the end of the second period.  The Stars stormed back with 3 unanswered goals in the third and were ever so close to getting the equalizer.

Congratulations to all of the Amherstburg Stars Select 7 players on a fantastic season.  And a big thanks goes out to the coaching staff for a job well done.

The feature players to wrap up the season are Gage Brown, Kieran Thrasher and Sebastien Tronchin.

Gage shows up at practice ready to work hard and has fun doing it.  All his hard work paid off when he got his opportunity to suit up for a game where he earned the hard hat award.

Kieran is a fierce competitor who works hard and skates extremely well.  Kieran is also a versatile player as he is able to switch from forward to defense without any issues.

Sebastien was an absolute force the entire season.  From his lightning fast skating to his rocket of a shot and his fancy maneuvering, Sebastien thrilled the crowd each and every game.

Congratulations to all 3 players on an outstanding season
