Registration for 2023-24 season will open Friday April 28th at 8am. The link below will remain active while spots are available. All divisions do have limits on the number of players we can take therefore register early to ensure your spot.

NEW TO AMHERSTBURG OR NEW TO HOCKEY
If your player is NEW to hockey please follow the instructions on the Online Registration link.
If your player is NEW to AMHA, please contact the Registrar to complete your registration process separately.
ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM
We encourage all members to use the ONLINE Hockey Canada registration system. If you used it last year, you already have an ID and password setup for yourself and can move forward. * Please note that it is a parent led software and any challenges go through the support/help function for HCR 3.0.
If you are new to hockey or did not use the online system last year you must create an account for yourself first by following the instructions on the website once you have clicked the link. Using the online system will ensure that your spot is secured (pending receipt of payment).
SELECTING THE PROPER ONLINE STORE:
Once you log into the Hockey Canada website you will see a choice of 3 online stores. Choose the one that best suits your needs. If your child is wishing to play house league then you will select the House League store. If your child wishes to tryout for one of AMHA or Erie North Shore travel teams then you will select the Travel Hockey store (PLEASE NOTE…if your child will be trying out for U12, U13, U14, or U16, please select the TRAVEL HOCKEY STORE and select the option of ENS Travel for AMHA players. This allows you to register your child for the upcoming tryouts and not have to pay AMHA’s registration fee until after tryouts if needed). If your child is wishing to try out for AAA or as an NRP at another Centre then you should select the PTS/NRP online store and don’t forget to contact our VP of Travel to obtain your PTS form/NRP card. FEES for 2023/2024
AMHA will be offering a 50% discount for all FULL TIME GOALIES from U10 and up for House league and Travel goalies. Goalies must commit to playing goalie for the whole season to be eligible for the discount. Should a goalie decide after the start of the season that they wish to play out they will forfeit their discount and will have to pay the remaining balance prior to returning to the ice. To take advantage of this discount please select the appropriate Registration store and select the goalie registration and not player registration option. (For example, your child wishes to play U13 house league goalie. You would select the AMHA House league registration store. From there you will be presented with either U13 player registration or U13 Goalie registration. Select the Goalie registration and complete the registration process).
AGE AND GROUP INFORMATION:
When using the online registration system and entering the players date of birth, the system will automatically place your player into their appropriate age category. Any specific requests regarding your player involving playing *up* or *down* in Houseleague will be managed by our Conveners and Coaches and is separate from the registration process. When selecting your registration group, you should ONLY select the actual age group. Example: if your player is 8yrs old you must choose the U9 category.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
For our families in need of financial assistance there are numerous opportunities available to you through the Jumpstart Program through Amherstburg Community Services. If you are using an external source of funding you must follow their process.
Applicants utilizing a financial assistance program must register manually by contacting the registrar via email at [email protected].
PAYMENT METHODS:
AMHA accepts only credit cards. No other payments will be accepted. For those paying by credit card there may be staggered payment options available depending when you register.
RESPECT IN SPORT:
If you are registering your player for hockey for the first time you must also complete the Respect in Sport Parent online course. The link to the course is here. This is mandated by Hockey Canada. PLEASE REMEMBER TO INDICATE AMHERSTBURG MINOR HOCKEY when selecting your association. If you have completed this course for another family member, please login again, then *add* your new player to the system. You do not need to re-do the course.
TRAVEL TRYOUTS:
If your player is interested in trying out for one of our travel teams or an Erie North Shore travel team there will be an additional fee for that ice. Please select the travel fee of $50 if you are trying out for an AMHA hosted team (U10,U11,U15, and U18). Erie North Shore information for their fee will follow at a later date.
Please note that any player who successfully makes one of our travel teams will be subject to additional Travel Fees to be communicated at a later date by the Team Manager.

Requests for refunds must be made in writing to [email protected]
All refunds will be charged a $40 non-refundable admin fee.
Refunds requested after the start of the current season will be charged a prorated fee for ice.
NO REFUNDS will be processed after the 6th week of the session.
FAILING TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS AND REGISTERING INCORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN A $40 ADMIN FEE
