WE ENCOURAGE ALL REGISTRANTS TO READ ALL THE INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN FRIDAY APRIL 5TH , 2024 AT 8AM
PLAYERS TRYING OUT FOR AAA STILL NEED TO REGISTER UNDER THE AAA REGISTRATION FOR THEIR DIVISION AND CONTACT THE VP OF TRAVEL FOR A PERMISSION TO SKATE FORM.
IF YOU RETURN TO AMHA FROM AAA CUTS, YOU MUST CONTACT AMHA’S REGISTRAR TO REGISTER WITH AMHA.
AMHA accepts registrations from all eligible players from age 3 thru 20 years. Houseleague is open to all players. If your player is interested in trying out for one of our Travel teams they must live within the AMHA boundaries. Further information on AMHA boundaries is available thru

[email protected]There will be NO NRP CARDS this season as all centers have moved to A category. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND A PAYMENT(PARTIAL OR FULL) MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAVEL TRYOUTS.
NEW TO AMHERSTBURG OR NEW TO HOCKEY
If your players NEW to hockey(NEVER PLAYED HOCKEY ANYWHERE BEFORE) please follow the instructions on the online registration link.
If your player is NEW to AMHA(HAS PLAYED FOR ANOTHER ASSOCIATION BEFORE), please contact the Registrar to complete your registration process.
ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM
All registrations are completed ONLINE using the HCR(Hockey Canada Registration)system. If your player played last year, you will already have an ID and password setup for yourself and can move forward with the registration process.
If you are NEW to hockey or did not use the online system last year, you must create an account for yourself first by following the instructions on the website once you have clicked the link. Using the ONLINE system is the ONLY way to ensure your player’s spot is secured(pending receipt of payment).
There will be 2 dates for IN PERSON Registration-dates and times TBD(keep checking the AMHA website for dates and times). However, this process is still done thru the online system, so don’t delay as you may not get a spot.
AGE AND AGE GROUP INFORMATION
Upon creating your profile and entering your child’s birthdate, the system will automatically place your player into the appropriate age category. Any specific requests for your player to move up or down in houseleague divisions is handled by our Conveners and Coaches and is separate from the registration process. When selecting your registration , you should ONLY select the actual age group. For example: If your child is 8 years old by the end of 2024, then your child should be in U9.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
For our families in need of financial assistance there are numerous opportunities available you you thru Amherstburg Community Services(Jumpstart, Pathway To Potential). If you plan on using these or require more information, please contact them at 519-736-5471. You must follow their process.
Applicants that are utilizing a financial assistance program must register manually by contacting the registrar via email.
PAYMENT METHODS
AMHA ONLY accepts credit card payments (WE ARE TOTALLY CASHLESS) or instalments made by credit card or visa debit thru the SportsPay system that you encounter at time of registration. Payment instalments may be an option depending on when you register(the sooner your register the more payment plan options you have). PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR REGISTRAION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL A PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
TRAVEL TRYOUTS
If your player is interested in trying out for one of our travel teams, there will be additional fees if your child is successful. You must register prior to tryouts and be current with payments.

AMHA IS PLEASED TO BRING BACK OUR GOALIE DISCOUNT
AMHA will be offering a 50% discount for all FULL TIME GOALIES from U10 and up for house league and travel goalies. Goalies must commit to playing goalie for the entire season to be eligible for the discount. Should s goalie decide after the start of the season that they wish to play out they will forfeit their discount and will have to pay the remaining balance prior to returning to the ice. To take advantage of this discount please select the appropriate Registration category (make sure you are selecting the goalie registration and not the player registration for your age group). For example: your child wishes to play U13 house league goalie. You would select the AMHA U13 HL GOALIE registration and complete the registration process.

All refunds will be subject to a $40 non refundable admin fee.
Refunds requested after the start of the season will be charged a prorated fee for ice.
NO REFUNDS will be processed after the 6th week of the season.
FAILING TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS AND REGISTERING INCORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN A $40 ADMIN FEE.
