Motown Cup Champs 2010
The Amherstburg Stars Atom Major '00 team competed in the Motown Cup Tournament in Detroit, Michigan November 12 to 14th, 2010.
They started the tournament on a high note, winning against Birmingham Liberty 3 to 1. Saturday they struggled on the ice as a team, and lost against the Humberview Huskies 1 to 4. Early Sunday morning though they came back strong, especially in the first period, winning against the Uxbridge Stars 7 to 4.
The two wins and the goals scored put the Amherstburg Stars in the finals against the Humberview Huskies. They played hard, with heart and soul the whole game and with 5 seconds remaining they scored the winning goal beating out the Huskies 4 to 3. They were crowned
Motown Cup Champs once again.
