Notes
Friday night's home game resulted in the Aburg 97 Star's defeating 1st place Jr. Spits by a score of 2-1. The game was a good match up as these two teams have had close results all season. The Aburg Star's opened their scoring when #19 Rorseth scored with a tipped in goal off of #9 Burns and a shot by #2 Wismer from the point. As the zamboni exited the arena after the intermission the two teams remained tied at one a piece. Late in the third #25 Damico scored the go ahead goal after he blistered one past the Jr. Spits goaltender for the eventual game winner. The 97's came away with a valuable two points in preparation for their final two games against Chatham.
