Novice, Travel Teams, 2011-2012 (Amherstburg Minor Hockey Association)

 It was another exciting weekend for our Novice Stars up at the Fort Erie major tournament. The boys went 3-1 to get to the championship game but could not get the job done losing to the Leaside Flames 5-0 in the final. Overall great effort with all kids contributing to the success as well as some very strategic coaching tactics when required. Lets keep the chins up boys as we prepare for playdowns and get this monkey off our back. Please check our schedule for up coming games and come out to support the kids. Go Stars!

 Our Novice Stars went 4-0 to get to the championship game but came up a little short losing to Erie Northshore 4-3 in OT. Overall great effort by all the kids, game could have went either way. They hope to carry this momentum forward to the Fort Erie tournament this coming weekend and bring back the championship. The Amherstburg Stars (Novice Division) will be selling wristbands and key chains this weekend in the main lobby of the arena. They are black with the team logo as shown above. The cost is $2.00 for the wristbands and $3.00 for the key chains.  We appreciate your support!

 Our Novice Stars went 4-0 to get to the finals but fell a little short to the Goulding Park Rangers in the championship game losing 5-3. Overall great effort by the kids with all three lines contributing to the scoring. Strong defense throughout the tournament kept the opposition on their heels as well as adding a couple points of their own. Spence as usual was solid between the pipes with a pair of shutouts. Great start to the season...check back soon for some pictures of the boys in action.
