Notes
Historic Harrow Arena was the scene of the Midget Minor's 2-0 win over Erie Northshore on Saturday night. Star's goaltender Wes Werner stopped 22 shots on his way to the shutout including several quality scoring chances, aided by a great game by the defensive unit. Scoring started in the second when Mike Lenson passed to Joel Rorseth who fed the puck onto the waiting stick of Garett Meloche directly in front of the net. Meloche rifled the puck in before Northshore's goalie reacted, giving the Star's a one goal lead. Shortly after Joel Rorseth picked up his own rebound, delivering it once again to Garett Meloche, who found the mesh for his second goal of the night. The physical play continued until the final whistle but the Amherstburg Star's would hold on for their second win in as many nights! Final score 2-0 Star's. Go Stars!!
