Atom Minor, Travel Teams, 2013-2014 (Amherstburg Minor Hockey Association)

The Amherstburg Stars Atom Minor team finished their successful season in fine fashion yesterday with a 0-0 tie against the Windsor Jr Spitfires. Playing in a must win situation, every player on the team gave it all they had in an attempt to get the win but came up just short as time expired a second before Drew Booker knocked a rebound into the Windsor net.

Drake McGowan scored the only goal in regulation and Alexandra Seagris scored in the 11th round of the shootout to lift the Stars to a 2-1 victory in the championship game of the 2013 Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Classic Sunday afternoon.
