Bantam Minor, Travel Teams, 2015-2016 (Amherstburg Minor Hockey Association)

The Bantam Minors travelled to Halton Hills this past Thanksgiving weekend to participate in the Harvest Cup tournament.  The boys came out strong and skated to a convincing 3-0 win against a very strong Brampton 45's.  Saturday morning they faced a tough Kitchener Rangers Blue team but persevered with a 2-1 win.  Later that night, the Stars lost a close game to host team Halton Hills.  The boys would redeem themselves the next morning in the semi finals skating to a 7-1 win to advance to the finals where they clinched the Championship with a 3-0 win over Kitchener. On behalf of the coaching staff, I would like to thank all the players for their outstanding efforts at this years tryouts, it made the final decisions difficult for the coaches.  Congratulations to those selected and we look forward to a successful year.
