Novice Stars win the Richmond Hill Early bird Tournament
The Amherstburg Novice Travel team won the Richmond Hill Stars Early bird A Tournament on Sunday Sept 19th.
The Stars went a perfect 5-0 including a 7-3 win over Uxbridge Stars (the only other undefeated team) to win the Championship game. In doing so, they met one of the team’s goals for the 2010-11 season.
The players commitment to team play and hard work was key to a successful Tournament. Their explosive offense found the net for 30 goals, while the superb defense only allowed the opposition to 8 goals; a tournament best.
