Light Blue Stars are finding their stride
After an impressive first place finish in the regular season that showed great offense, great defense, and excellent goaltending, the Novice Light Blue Stars entered the playoffs on the right foot. The competition is getting tighter and tighter each week, and all the kids are improving so much, it is truly great to see! It should be a great race to the finish. This week we faced the Burgandy Bombers, with great team work on both sides of the ice, we came out victorious. More impressive than the victory was the fact that 7 of our players had points.
On 7 goals we gad 9 assists, which is very impressive. I couldnt be happier with the progress of the kids. Special congradulations go out to Jacob Collver who had his best game this year and earned the player of the week trophy, he played great in all 3 zones, his line changes were perfect, and he was very focused on the game. Keep up the great work Jacob!
