The Midget Minor Star's closed out their regular season Monday night with a real barn burner! The final score was 9-1 against a depleted South Pointe roster. Star's goalie Josh Paquette was very stingy letting the lone South Pointe goal in late in the second when the Star's were down two men! The final scoresheet included a hat trick for Garett Meloche, a pair of goals and a pair of helpers for Cory Burns, a goal and assist for Spencer Benvenuto, also a goal and assist for Mike Lenson. Adding the last couple of goals were Avery Brush and Brent Allen. Kyle Fockens and Kane Morneau each picked up a point as well as AP's Jack Hubbell and Jake Topliffe who assisted too! This game concluded a very successful series versus South Pointe this season. Final score 9-1! Go Stars!!
