Improve Overall Record to 19-0-2
The Amherstburg Midget Major Hockey Team hosted the Elite 8 tournament this past weekend and came away as Champions. They defeated a very strong team from Ajax 3-2 in dramatic fashion as Justin Veldhuis scored the winning goal seven minutes into overtime to bring home the Championship.
The Stars would like to thank AMHA and Chris Bozin for organizing the outstanding tournament and are honoured to be able to hoist this banner in honour of Brandy Peddie.
The Midget Majors are putting together an outstanding season and would like to thank their loyal fans for the support during the tournament weekend. The Stars return to action this Saturday at the Libro Centre, game time is 8:10pm, See you there!
