The Amherstburg Stars Novice AE brought home a Gold medal at the Adam Keunen Memorial Classic in Grimsby this past weekend.
The Stars went undefeated against Markham and Whitby on the first day of the tournament, which led to the Stars advancing to the Semi-finals Sunday morning against Whitby. After a tight game, and double overtime, the Stars won in a shootout, advancing to the finals.
The Stars played an excellent game with strong offence, excellent defense, and amazing goal tending, leading the Stars to a win against West London and a GOLD medal!
Great job players and coaches! Your hard work and dedication led to an amazing victory!
