PeeWee Minor, Travel Teams, 2010-2011 (Amherstburg Minor Hockey Association)

Amherstburg's PeeWee Minors celebrated a winning streak with a day on the town. Thanks Coach Dave!  We started the day with 3 on 3 hockey at Lanspeary Park, Koolini's for a pizza lunch and finally... the best for last... paintball!  Have a look at our photo page for pictures from our event or click "Read More" to view a short slide show. The Amherstburg Stars won the 2010 Fort Erie Tournament this past weekend, defeating the previously unbeaten Welland Tigers 3-0. Dershahn Stewart recorded his 3rd shutout of the tournament in the championship game.  

The Peewee Minor Stars opened the weekend with a hard fought 1-1 tie in Chatham.  Despite having 3 goals disallowed, the Stars battled back and with 4:05 seconds left in the third, the Stars banged in the equalizer.  Sundays game, back at home, had the Stars facing their “A” rival out of Riverside.
