Select 7 Stars Make Semi Finals in Weekend Tournament
The Amherstburg Stars Select 7 team finished off the weekend tournament with two tough, hard fought losses to the same team.

The first loss came on Saturday evening.  Even with this loss, the Stars still finished in 3rd place in the first round of play which got them into the semi-finals on Sunday morning at 8:10am.  Sunday morning's game was an awesome game to watch.  The Stars lead the game 3-2 at one point near the end of the first period.  And though the Stars did not come away victorious, they played a great game and really showed how well they could play as a team.  Hayden Bondy earned the Hard Hat Award for the games hardest worker on Sunday morning.

Congratulations to all the Star's players on a great tournament.

The feature player of Saturday night's game was Cameron Sinasac.  Cameron is outstanding defensive player who is always in the right position, reads plays perfectly and has prevented an extreme number of scoring chances by the opposition.
