Very Exciting Game! A lot of back and forth, end to end hockey where we saw plenty of offense from both teams. Overall we were quite pleased with the way our entire Maroon team responded...
... as we got off to a bit of a slow start. A. Gillis stood tall in net though and made some key saves to keep us in the game, and our Defense once again performed well to keep the shot count low. Our offense forced the play down in their end and positionally we continue to see each player improve week to week. Line changes were great this week as well. We will work on the one-on-one battles and racing for the puck in future practices to ensure all of the players are fully engaged.
It's fitting that the NHL All-Star logo is Maroon as we've seen our players play like All-Stars since ringing in the new year at the new Facility. LOL :) It really is great to see the kids come together and play as a team week in / week out...

Regarding Goalies, we are unsure at this point who will be playing net in the future. A. Salmon has shown a lot of interest as has A. Kelly, so if we need more volunteers to play goal we will let you know. Please continue to check the
