Time to put the skates away and get out the soccer balls and baseball bats. We finished a great year with a tie; ending our season with 16 wins, 6 losses and 3 ties. Our record was tops in the league although not quite good enough to finish first or second or third. LOL! The kids gave it a great effort over the weekend and the coaches are very pleased with each of our players. I want to thank Coach Chuck Morin and Coach Scott Jones for their support, sense of humour and hockey knowledge.

A close game ended with a loss, 5-4. The kids played well and we had numerous shots; however the Orange goalie was tough today. We play our last game Sunday against Orange and we need a win to force a tie. Today's goal scorers were Max, Jacob, Cameron and William. Assists went to Lexi, William, Keaton, Max and Spaghetti.
Note: We play Sunday at 9:30 [
Rink B - Josh in net]. From 10:30 to 11:00 the kids get a luncheon and their trophies. Bring your cameras [have the kids dress at the arena so they don't have to wear their hockey equipment after the game]
Thanks, Coach Bob

We had an opportunity for a warm-up game against Orange, our opponents next weekend. Although both teams were short handed and the kids had a lot of ice time, both teams played with high intensity and the game had a lot of action. We had numerous chances and spent most of the time in Orange's end. Today we mixed up the lines giving our defense an opportunity to play up and three of our regular forwards a chance to play defense. Today's scorers were Max with two, Jacob, Lexi and Spaghetti with one each. William had two assists and Adam had one. Good job today! On defense it was nice to see Keaton and Dalton stopping a lot of forward momentum by Orange. Great defense guys! As usual Josh was strong in net keeping the score low!
