Solid game; Nice Win!
Great job team!  It was nice to see you all work hard and come back from two disappointing losses. All Players played very well, starting with Adam in net.  He almost had a shut-out making many saves on some pretty good Orange shots.  Good job Adam.  Our defense was very solid; excellent job Spencer, Lexi, Spencer, Matt and Dalton.  The forwards scored 10 goals, led by Jacob with four, Nate with three, Max with two and William with one.  Dalton had a great game assisting on three goals.  Very good guys!

The player who really shined today was Cameron.  He played his position very well by staying on his side of the ice, played offensively the whole game and had some opportunities with the puck in front of the orange goalie.  With a big ice surface positioning is so important and Cam showed everyone how to do it right.  Great job Cam and keep it up!

Other notes:

As noted in my last email we are going to keep the lines as they were today, with some minor rotation due to occasional goaltending changes.

Josh is still going to be our primary goalie, however I will be rotating him on occasion to get him some practice playing out as well.  Josh will play in net next game, followed by Spencer the following game.

We still have to have a team pizza party [from our Hospice tournament].  I am going to set up a poll for the kids where they want their pizza from.  Watch out for the poll because I want all the players to vote.   Hopefully there will be a free room at the new arena for our party!

Keep a careful eye on the schedule as our convener, Pat Damico, mentioned today there may be changes due to travel playoffs and events planned at our new arena.  I will still send out weekly reminders but keep an eye as well on the schedule.

Chuck is planning on having more outdoor skates at the cemetery [weather permitting] and he will keep us informed with emails.  If your player is free, please get them out as much as possible to work on their skating.

Thanks team,

Coach Bob
