Great Start to The Season!
Well done team. We played a strong Blue Team and came out ahead 1-0. Very strong goaltending from Joey put this one in the win column. Carson scored our goal with Adam adding the assist. Each member of the team played well. Good job Team!
For a first game each player should be proud. I saw a lot of hustle on the ice, good positioning, good back checking and nice teamwork.
All three lines played strong and had numerous offensive opportunities. A very strong Blue goalie stymied our forwards during the game but persistence paid off.
The defense had their hands full with a very offensive minded Blue team but did quite well clearing the puck from our net to the wingers. The defense also stood tall in Blue's end, kept the puck in their zone and cluttered up the neutral zone slowing down Blue.
Overall Great Job and Nice Win!
