Today the team played Burgundy again and this time the game was very exciting with end to end action. Although we came up short 4-3 all the players were impressive. Starting with our guest goalie Joey B. we held off a very strong offense for most of the game. Great game Joey! We led 3-1 after 2 periods but could not hold on for the win. Our offense was also very strong with all three lines going all out. Today's scorers were Reese with 2 and Carson with 1. On one goal Reese found the top of the net with a great wrist shot. Our defense played another strong game with solid efforts from Jacob, Max, Ryan B. and Cam S. One of our regular defense, Brayden played forward and put on another great show of forechecking and back-checking Burgundy's top shooters. Excellent overall play Brayden. Our other forwards Justin, Nathan, Adam, William, Cam W., Carson, Rees and Ryan P. continued their strong play and really improved on playing their positions and passing. Great overall effort for all the players. We pulled the goalie for the last minute of play and had six players pounding the net. With a flurry of shots one seemed to get past the Burgundy goalie however the Ref's did not see it cross the line. Our guys on the ice saw it go in! Although we did not get the goal awarded to us, the last minute was hard pressing and very exciting!

- Looks like the Hospice Hockey Tournament is a go. We have 10 players and a goalie committed so let the fun begin. I will send out the pledge sheets soon. In addition each player who is participating needs to give coach Bob $15 for the sign up fee.
- Photo day is November 19th in the lobby of Rink B at 9:15 a.m. [full gear except mouth guards and helmets]. We are only allotted 15 minutes so please make sure you are on time, otherwise you will miss being in the team picture. Once I get forms I will hand them out to all.
