Another solid effort by team White, against a much improved Blue Team. End to end action kept everyone on the edge. Our team was again led by solid goaltending from Joey who stopped numerous shots including break aways. Great game Joey. Offensively the line of Carson, Adam and Justin were on fire. Carson led with two goals, one assist, Adam had three assists and Justin pocketed his first goal of the year on a real solid effort in front of the net. Great job guys. The fourth goal was scored on an end to end rush by William. William also added an assist. The other forwards also played very well had numerous chances, and back checked helping our defense. Great job by Ryan B, Ryan P, Nathan, Rees, Jacob and Cameron W.
Defensively the combination of Max and Brayden, William and Cam S were real solid. They kept the puck in the Blue end, got back to protect our goalie and cleared the puck up to the forwards. Very strong effort guys.
A special shout out goes to Ryan B, Nathan, Rees and Cam S who put in very solid individual efforts, with a lot of hustle and hard work.
Today's lesson to be learned is a recurring theme. Our passing needs to be improved, especially the need to head man the puck when we are rushing down the ice. It keeps the momentum going and keeps the opponent from getting into their defensive positions. Remember not to try and do everything yourselves. Your teammates are there to help.
